Sammy Hauschild is an artist and illustrator whose work moves between painting, drawing, textiles & mixed media. Her illustrative style using line , organic form, and curated color palettes often serve as the visual foundation for each body/ series of personal works or client work. While her styles vary depending on the medium she is working in, you can see similar color, concepts and imagery throughout each project or collection of works. She has a BFA degree in Fine Art & Illustration. She also has a background in textiles and design, having previously worked within the textile and furniture industries at Scott Group Studio and Maharam. She is currently working on a series of landscape paintings and a new series of fine artworks exploring the use of textiles as sculptures within a hanging art piece. Her fine art studio practice is based in Michigan.
Beyond her personal art practice, Sammy has collaborated and worked with clients such as Sarah Sherman Samuel, Mandy Moore and Sarah West Interiors. Her work has been in editorial features with multiple features in an upcoming Abrams publication "Sarah Sherman Samuel, The Intersection of Art and Design" to be released in April 2026.
